Got to the lot,
We parked the car,
Ate tailgate food,
And walked real far.
Went through the gate,
Then bought some treats,
Up fifty stairs,
And found our seats.
They sang the anthem,
Waved the flag,
I got some popcorn,
In a bag.
I had to go,
We went to pee.
Dad bought a hat
And shirt for me.
Then it was time
To have a snack
Some cotton candy
And crackerjack.
Then we were done,
Back to the Jeep.
Sat in my place
And fell asleep.
Dad picked me up,
Put me in bed,
Tucked me in,
And kissed my head.
He told me that
the Jets had won,
I missed the game
With all the fun.
