The gentle rhinos who abide
Upon the plain with aimless ease
Protected by their sturdy hide,
Bounce off the sparse acacia trees.
Embarrassed by abysmal vision
Apologetic rhinos mumble
Excuses for each new collision,
As kudus take another tumble.
Then puzzled rhinos stand and peer
At things they can't identify
Unless they're standing very near.
But nonetheless those rhinos try.
So when you see one do not fret
Like those who in the past mistook
A charging rhino for a threat.
It only wants a closer look.
