It’s not for the faint of heart—
This business of aging with grace.
I reference from the start
The wrinkles upon the face.
Then move up just a bit
And contemplate the dome.
Some of us are left
With no need for a comb.
Then move down to the waist
And note that it has changed.
Along with other parts
That have been rearranged.
That said, proceed we must
With a measure of good cheer,
Gratefully, I trust
Because we are still here.
