No surprise Tyrannosaurus Rex,
that prehistoric predator, Jurassic
nightmare, with a set of jaws that flex,
devoured its kind, and so is termed a classic
cannibal. The bite marks on the bones
of dinosaurs and giant gouges point
as solid proof within these fossil stones
that T-Rex ate its own, both meat and joint.
But what we do not know is how in eating
this largest carnivore consumed its prey.
To scavenge or devour by first defeating,
later gnawing, losers in the fray?
Just as, my love, we cuddle, kiss, and peck,
I feel your perfect teeth against my neck.
