Although I'm still besotted
With the thought of your carotid,
As my teeth grew badly carious
Our love life grew less various
Till toothlessness reduced sex to a bore.

Now, my need for flossing over,
We are left with glossing over
The most disappointing fact
That we do not interact
As in my vampire glory days of yore.

And this elephant that's in our room
Has trampled on my va-va-vroom
To leave us with the lack of thrill that comes.
From bites inflicted by edentate gums
Plus frustration that will last for evermore.
