Flamingoldies can be told
by coral feathers streaked with gold
and all the neck rings they can hold.

Throughout the lengthy courtship phase,
both males and females, on sunny days,
parade their gleaming gold displays.

As courting Flamingoldies vie
for flashy mates, they often fly
between Miami and Dubai.

Seldom silent, these birds sing
a one-note song of bling, bling, bling.
Their call is clear and loud: Ka-ching!
