Alexandra Corrin-Tachibana began speech and drama lessons at age 5, which probably triggered her love of poetry. In 2018 she was shortlisted for the Fish Publishing Prize. She has been published internationally, in print and online, in Snakeskin, Eunoia Review, Typishly, Silver Needle Press, Streetlight Magazine, Mothers Always Write, The Ofi Press and Ink, Sweat and Tears. In March 2019 she performed a sequence of poems at the American Writers’ Program conference in Portland, Oregon. Alexandra teaches at Newcastle University where she recently completed an MA in Writing Poetry.
