Judy Koren, from Haifa, Israel, has a degree in English literature but spent most of her career as a freelance information analyst; she started to write poetry more seriously after her recent retirement. She is President-Elect of Voices Israel, an Israel-based society of poets writing in English, and also serves as its webmaster. Her poetry has been published in two Voices Israel anthologies, two issues of the annual Israeli literary magazine The Deronda Review, and accepted for publication in The Road Not Taken – a Journal of Formal Poetry.
