. . . is the founder of HappenStance Press, a poetry chapbook imprint (www.happenstancepress.com ). Unsuitable Poems (Happenstance 2005) features some of her verse frippery. Her first full collection of heavy verse, Starlight on Water, sneaked in a few humorous pages, but this did not prevent it being a joint first-prize winner of the Jerwood Aldeburgh Prize in 2004.
