Yes. I remember Abbey Road –
The Beatles crossing single-file,
Paul barefoot on the zebra stripes.
They’d break up in a little while.

John strode with Ringo on his heels
And Yoko on his heart and mind.
Paul’s right hand held a cigarette.
George worked the denim look behind.

The iconography inspired
A wack-job myth that Paul was dead.
He wasn’t, though the band’s demise
And solo albums lay ahead.

They sang about an octopus,
A silver hammer and the sun
Some critics shrugged the album off,
Some said it was their finest one.
