Andy's poem in Issue 1 (Open Letter) came second in the ever-excellent Plough Prize when, in 2005, Judge Ian McMillan was brave enough to give proper acknowledgement to an example of dangerously lighter poetry.

Most recently Andy’s work has appeared in Poetry Nottingham. He had a piece on the final shortlist of the inaugural Open Poetry Sonnet Competition.  He tells me (M.P.) that Roger McGough once described him as “great,”  Well spotted, Mr McG.
