David is an ecologist based in Dublin and, apparently, should be spending far more time thinking about science. He rediscovered his passion for writing poetry in 2007 after a chance conversation with a poetic nephew. A love of the natural world has encouraged him to explore haiku, senryu and other Japanese forms, but he also has great fun writing lighter material.
