David Leonard Clarke, is a retired international businessman who claims not to write ‘good poetry’ but simple rhyming stuff, often autobiographical, often smutty. He owned and piloted a fast light aircraft for 20 years and has written passionately on this subject with some of his verse having been published in flight magazines. His main anthology contains around 150 of his own works together with rhymes 'from others with more talent’, as he puts it.
