Harry Ricketts is an emeritus professor in the English Programme at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He has published around 30 books, including The Unforgiving Minute: A Life of Rudyard Kipling (1999), Strange Meetings: The Poets of the Great War (2010) and 12 collections of poems, most recently Selected Poems (2021).
